CAE Design and Engineering

VCT uses computer aided engineering (CAE) tools for developing and testing virtual prototypes. When the prototypes are created in advance of physical prototyping, they can be used for conducting analyses and virtual tests. The results of the virtual testing can be used to optimize various design parameters.

When a physical prototype becomes available and is tested, the CAE model can leverage the test data to further optimize the design parameters. This tool guides the development of a superior design/product, while reducing development time and cost.

Our in-house CAE capabilities include:
  • Multi-body Dynamics
  • Finite Element Analysis
  • Load displacement, velocity, acceleration analysis
  • Motion simulations
  • Forced response analysis
  • Optimization of design parameters
  • Stress/strain analysis
